I love the fact that every day is entirely different from the previous day. I get so bored with normal cardio/workout classes. This was so different-it really keeps you on your toes. I love the fact that you set-up all over the park, and make every day a unique experience. I just needed that extra push, I was frustrated with working out on my own (or not working out at all), I jumped into it after I heard Rachel talking about it. I was not working out right before I joined, so I definitely was a little intimidated about signing up. I am very happy that I did. I feel stronger and fitter then I have been in awhile. It was a testament to myself to see if I could make and Keep such a commitment. I'm glad I followed through-and I think my husband is astonished that I went through with it too!

I love the feeling of accomplishment after each session attended—each workout is challenging, so it conjures such positive feelings after working so hard—all before 6:30AM! Also, the mood you create is comfortable and it is obvious that people enjoy meeting together in the morning—you can’t help but leave in a good mood—what a way to start the day!

I was so sad for it to be our last class today. I have totally enjoyed this sooooo much. I don't know how I am going to have to go three weeks till the next camp starts. I know that I mentioned I enjoyed camp, but wanted to tell you at the beginning of the year I went to a trainer in the Parsippany area. I wanted to meet up with a trainer… I found the training very boring, it was all weights, which I know is very important, but cardio is extremely important for me too. This is what I am so excited about with bootcamp, it gives me what I was looking for a year ago.

Wow - today was tough for me. I can't tell you how proud I am that I did today's workout. My skill level may be what you call "recovery" (LOL!), but I worked hard today. Whenever I felt I couldn't go any further, I pushed myself harder and jogged whenever the whistle told me to! I could not have pushed myself like that on my own - I love bootcamp!

I have to tell you how your email about the "scale" came at a perfect time for me. I have a friend who has struggled with her weight worse than I and we've yo-yoed together for years. Well , I've done bootcamp for 6 weeks now, lost 5 lbs, am back to wearing my size 10 and feeling stronger..All those things are great right?..Well, .She started Jenny Craig 2 weeks ago and lost 9 lbs! ...I was happy for her but bummed for me .All my hard work and only 5 lbs in 6 or 7 weeks. I'd been really fixated on the scale. I learned a lot from the article you sent. It put things into perspective about all the fluctuations of the scale and how the body works.. My scale is now in a corner of my basement and I'm really going to try not to obsess on the #s and focus on how I LOOK AND FEEL, so... thanks!!!

I was recently trying to convince someone to join bootcamp, and when she said she can't imagine getting up that early to workout out, I said that you really do forget all about that after the first few days. I went on to say that it is as much about the workout as it is about the laughing and social support (for me anyway). Doing bootcamp is truly the best way to start your day. I have never left a workout with you and wished I'd slept in.

What I enjoy most about camp is your leadership. I like your sense of humor and also that you are extremely not judgment about what someone else may be able to accomplish. I find you inspiring - if you can do it maybe I can too. I also like working out in a group of such nice and inspiring women. I realize that it is more difficult to get up to exercise alone - frankly I don't want to miss the party.

Hi! I just wanted to take a moment to say "thank you" (which honestly doesn't even begin to cover it!)....I really, really enjoy your workouts (and you!) and really feel such a difference in my body after only about 2 months. I was actually getting frustrated at the gym since I had no motivation (even from my trainer) as well as no early morning classes to fit my schedule!! Your camps have been just the thing I needed to get over a plateau I could not break for quite some time and your info on nutrition has been super helpful as well. I just wanted to tell you that your weight loss tips have finally sunken into my head! Last night I went home and tossed any chocolates and ice cream I had in the house. Tossing the ice cream was the hardest thing for me to do. It's one of my "trigger" foods. But, I feel so much better! This time round I will be successful. I understand so much more about the need for a variety of healthy foods in my diet. I have been changing my whole approach to the types of foods I eat.
